Time for a New Mood
It's time for a new mood in Washington, and it's time for some resignations. In fact, I think Harry Reid and Chuck Shumer should be the first to go. When they leave town, Nancy Pelosi should follow.
Wait, I'm sorry, they are calling for Karl Rove to resign because he wasn't indicted Friday, and evidently didn't break the law in speaking of Valerie Plame.
Here's a suggestion for the senior Democrats in congress. If you want a new mood in DC, SHUT UP! With the exception of your rabid left base, this story isn't going to resonate in about a month, when a new Supreme Court nominee surfaces. It might pop up in a year or so, when Libby goes to trial (if he does), but again, it won't resonate.
Wasting time on this is wasting time you could be using to come up with a plan, on anything, since you haven't presented any in the last 5 years, only complaints, moans and groans.
