HAPPY BIRTHDAY

The Lovely Wife will be leaving shortly, returning to the homestead in Zion, to see what kind of destruction 3 cats, a dog and two adult children have wrought on the home.

She's such a sweetie, she tried to extend her stay an extra week, but no tickets available for flights next weekend, and my schedule doesn't work for getting her to an airport during the week.

I can't wait to move back and live with her again, instead of 900 miles, and a layover in Detroit away.

One important note, today is The Lovely One's Birthday. So if you feel inclined, leave a comment here wishing her a happy one. Just don't remind her she's now older than me (again). She doesn't like being reminded of it.

Update: Zeus and Thor conspired to keep The Lovely One here another night. Due to weather her first flight was delayed so long she would have missed her connector. So they rebooked her on an oversold plane at another airline (they weren't happy). Finally, after another rebooking, the third airline of the day cancelled her flight, and rebooked for tomorrow afternoon. Of course, this could have all happened quicker than it did. Instead we spent 5 hours at the airport to find out we should have stayed home.

(Zeus and Thor are gods of lightning and thunder, don't get on me about mixed mythology)
