The Other Tact
He also brings up Clinton and his scandals, but doesn't delve into it, maybe because Clinton was never trusted by about half the population.
The fact is, Rove has been a thorn to the Dem's for the last five years. They still can't comprehend the amount of money Soros, et. al. spent in 2004 and they still lost. He's played hardball with them, and won for the most part, and they want him gone. The shrieks of Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy aren't going to do it. Bush will keep Rove if only to antagonize them, and remind them He, not they, control the White House.
I'm doubting Lou's soft sell on the idea is going to get him to fire Rove either.
