Another Day, Another Editorial
Today it's Froomkin's White House Briefing, with this gem of a quote "So faced with an increasingly festering problem, there are signs that some blood-letting may be in the cards."
Here's a clue, to the Post, NY Times, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and San Diego Union Tribune, who have all editorialized this week. There would be no festering problem if you weren't editorializing about it!
The story isn't self sustaining, in fact, it's only even there because the media insists that it be a story. I believe they are just has disappointed as Howlin'' Harry Reid is that Karl Rove wasn't indicted, because they'd all predicted he would be. Now they have to have something happen to Rove, because they said something would. So they are manufacturing a crisis to try and get him out of there.
Here's the problem, Bush has proven that in most cases, he doesn't cave to the media, or the Democrats. So what they have here is a case of constant noise over Rove, that is probably a waste of time. My money is that Karl Rove is working in the same place he is right now in six months.

You forgot the Chicago Sun Times, who's publisher ended up in court, then selling because he was inflating his numbers so hugely.
