Party Trumps Race

According to prominent Black Leaders, such as Kweisi Mfume, it's okay for blacks to call Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele an oreo, Uncle Tom, etc, because he's not a democrat. In other words, the party of "diversity" is claiming that diversity is fine, as long as everyone is the same.

Here's a few quotes from today's Washington Times to point out the idiocy of the left.

"There is a difference between pointing out the obvious and calling someone names," said a campaign spokesman for Kweisi Mfume.

"Party trumps race, especially on the national level," according to State Sen.. Lisa A. Gladden, a black Baltimore Democrat.

"Because he is a conservative, he is different than most public blacks, and he is different than most people in our community," she said. "His politics are not in the best interest of the masses of black people.", says Delgate Salima Siler Marriott, a black Baltimore Democrat, who also claims Mr. Steele invites comparisons to a slave who loves his cruel master or a cookie that is black on the outside and white inside because his conservative political philosophy is, in her view, anti-black.

Just makes me want to run out and join the Democratic Party, those protectors of diversity, as long as we're all diverse in the same way.
