Senator, Do Your Ears Work?
Here's the quote from Drudge:
"As a Veteran of World War II, I know what it’s like to fight a war and put your life on the line every day. I also know what it takes to win a war, and I know that politics and an attack machine like the President’s plays no part in it.Excuse me, Senator, but have you listened to the ad, it's the words of YOUR party? The party that has been playing politics with Iraq since they got their tails kicked over it in the 2004 elections. The party who's leadership say's it doesn't have to have a plan, because they aren't the party in power? Or when pressed harder the party who says they'll have a plan around election time next year.
"The Republican Party’s latest ad is a shameful and disgusting attempt to distract the American people from the problems in Iraq. It may improve the President’s political fortunes, but the American people and our troops will pay the price. I hope that President Bush realizes how shameful it is to play politics when what we really need is leadership, and that he will direct his Party to take down this ad immediately."
Senator, have you been listening to your party, and it's attack machine playing politics? Have you actually listened to Murtha, Pelosi, Kerry, and Dean?

I guess on their radio address yesterday they rolled out the normal strawman they've been using. Any attack on what they say is an attack on their patriotism.
The white flag thing is definitely bothering them.
Notice that they've been using Murtha, Kerry, Reed (john) and Inouye to do the attacking. That's because they are vets, and have that to stand behind.
I think the GOP should run an ad with a white flag symbolizing the surrender of today's Democratic Party is in the realm of ideas.
Good point Brad. Though I heard Howard Dean say their plan is better, though he hasn't told anyone what the hell it is!
It cracks me up how much the libs are whining about this ad when it is THEIR OWN WORDS. Hello!! I love how the dems talking points are how evil the Republicans are for pointing out their comments. Give me a break!
