More Folks Too Stupid to Vote

As I said a few posts ago, I laughed like hell at Dan Kenitz's column on folks who are too stupid to vote. But it got me thinking, there are lots of them out there.

For instance, yesterday on the news, everywhere, was the story of the Evangelical minister who bought meth and massages or sex, depending on who you believe, from a gay hooker. At the end of one of the radio newcasts they talked about how many evangelicals are starting to move to the Democratic Party because they are disillusioned with Bush and the GOP.

WAIT FOLKS! Please don't vote, you are definitely too stupid to be trusted with a ballot. If Denny Hastert and Bill Frist aren't conservative enough on social issues for you so instead you'd put Nancy Pelosi and Dick Durbin in charge of congress, you need a head exam, not a ballot.

Fiscal Conservatives, if you are pissed at the way Frist and Hastert have allowed spending bills to run through congress like crap through a goose, and at Bush for not vetoing them, please don't vote if you plan a democratic vote as punishment, you are stupid.

I posted about the "Six for 06" a few days ago, a massive new spending plan funded by finding the phantom 300 billion in missing tax money. We've been looking for that money since Reagan was in office, and never found it. Sorry, but if you think Reid and Rangle will make for more fiscal sense, you are too stupid to vote.

If you are disillusioned with Iraq, and think we should leave immediately, and are going to vote for Democrats to prove it, you're too stupid to vote also. So far Iraq's PM, Defense minister, and just about everyone else there has been screaming for us to stay. About the only folks who are cheering for us to leave are insurgents, and Democrats.

Read the whole National Intelligence Estimate, and see what it says about pulling out, it isn't good.

If you think Murtha's ideas about "redeployment" to Okinawa are great, you obviously don't understand two things. 1, the distance from Okinawa to Iraq, and 2, the fact that the folks on Okinawa don't like the troops already there, adding 15,000 more won't make them happy. It's obvious John hasn't been there since the 1960's, and doesn't get it; and he's supposedly savvy on this type of stuff. So if you are behind him, you are probably too stupid to vote, stay home Tuesday.

Oh, one last thing, unlike Dan, who's column was meant as humor, I'm not kidding. I really think there are a bunch of folks out there who are going to make such monumentally stupid decisions at the ballot box that they should just stay home.

I'm sure that part of that is just wishful thinking by the MSM. Hopefully the vast majority of it is wishful thinking.

I've long thought that far too many people vote that don't have the faculties for doing so. I am absolutely incensed at the idea of printing ballots in other languages than English. If you can't read English what are the chances that you have a clue about the issues? It'll never happen but I'd love to see a basic citizenship test given to people before they vote.
