Piglet Still not Free!
(This is the same Europe where 250lb men regularly wear speedos... now that's offensive!)
From Lost Budgie....
Dudley Council Backing Down over Piglet Ban? Not
Really...
Maybe. A little bit. Sort of.
Dudley Council members in Britain had previously
banned toy pigs and other pig-related items in
municipal offices as a result of a single complaint
from a Muslim. Among the banned items were piggy
banks, novelty pig calendars and a tissue box
featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
Now, the same Council leaders say they will not accept
"extreme forms of political correctness" - but neither
have they rescinded the ban. The Council is going to
have "an urgent review of the procedures."
"Urgent review" is not a victory for Piglet.
Also, if "extreme forms of political correctness" are
not acceptable, the Council position seems to be that
"MILD forms of political correctness" are acceptable.
The war over Dhimmitude still rages - and there has
been no victory yet won in Dudley Council.
Elsewhere in Britain, England's St. George's flag is
still banned from the workplace as being "offensive"
to Islamists. The Battle of Burger King was lost to a
surrender - not a defeat. The Union Jack is still
under attack as being "offensive" to Muslims.
Islamists have threatened to destroy a one hundred
year old statue of a wild boar if it is repaired.
"Winne the Pooh" and "Charlotte's Web" have been
banned from British schools as being "offensive to
Muslims".
In Canada, some want to replace Ontario's flag because
of it's Christian origin.
In the United States, a woman was fired for eating a
bacon sandwich at work - "offends Muslims".
To paraphrase one of Lost Budgie's favourite leaders
as he spoke on November 10, 1942:
"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of
the end. Neither is it the end of the beginning.
The Free Piglet! Campaign Must OINK On!"

Good post.
Yes, let's all appease the Muslims, shall we, while we do everything possible to offend Christians!
Makes me want to scream in frustration! Remember the movie "Ship of Fools"? I think they made land and propogated!
Thanks for visiting my blog and the e-mail. I'll get on my BR soon.
This issue with the pig thing is absurd. I'm hoping that citizens everywhere see it as such. Nice post.
